The decision to divorce or to end a relationship is rarely taken lightly. It can be a time of great anguish, upset and shock, yet one in three marriages in the United Kingdom end in divorce.

The implications of the divorce are not only felt by the parties, but by any children involved, making the situation very distressing for all parties. Any individual who may have to go through the legal process of a divorce, will have to deal with the emotional and personal process of dealing with the breakdown of the relationship. There are also the financial aspects to consider.

At a time where a party feels emotionally vulnerable, it can be difficult to get perspective on the situation as a whole and make an impartial decision about how you would like the process to move forward. This is where you will require support from not only your friends and family, but from the professionals who will be able to support you throughout this process, leaving you in the best legal, financial and emotional state.
